Individual Therapy

Whether this is your first therapy experience or you’ve seen other therapists, you are taking an important step. During our first one to three 45-minute sessions, we will focus on what you hope to gain from therapy and the scope and context of your concerns. We will discuss therapeutic approaches and goals. If we both feel that the therapist-client relationship is a good fit, we will meet weekly or twice weekly, in some cases, for individual psychotherapy. Depending on each client’s therapeutic goals, therapy may be short term (8-12 sessions) or longer term.
