Born in South Africa, I bring an international, multicultural lens to my work with a diverse clientele. I began my graduate training in clinical psychology in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and completed graduate and post-graduate training in Boston, Massachusetts. I have worked in multiple university counseling centers. A few years after completing my training, I established independent practices first in Boston in 2008 and then in Washington, DC in 2011. I have been in full-time private practice for more than 7 years.
I am part-time Faculty at George Washington University, where I am a Clinical Supervisor of Clinical Psychology. I provide clinical supervision for doctoral student externs training at GW Hillel. In past university counseling center staff positions, I routinely supervised graduate trainees. I also provide clinical supervision for therapists at all stages of learning in my private practice.
